Are the generated quotes real?
Yes. Every quote is a real line from a named public-domain source, listed in the Quote library. None are AI-written.

Press Surprise me for a classic quote with its source, from Stoics and poets to scripture, already set in a design you can export as a video or an image.
Press Surprise me above and you get a random quote from the built-in library, already laid out in a template and moving. Press it again for another. Every quote is public domain, from writers who died long ago or from public-domain texts, and the Quote library shows each one’s source, such as “Walden, 1854” or “Meditations, Book IV (George Long translation)”.
This is a generator of real quotes, not invented ones: nothing is written by AI and nothing is misattributed. Lines often credited to the wrong person, like “Be the change you wish to see” or Einstein sayings that Einstein never said, are deliberately left out. When you find one you like, change the design, then export a quote video or a quote image.
Press Surprise me. Keep pressing until a quote fits your day.
Open Quote library to see every quote by theme: motivation, wisdom, love, kindness, courage, nature, faith, happiness, creativity and humour.
Press Browse templates to try the quote in other looks, or adjust it in the editor.
Press Export and save a Video (MP4), Image (PNG) or GIF.
The library holds over a hundred quotes, each checked word for word against a public-domain edition: Project Gutenberg and Wikisource texts, or the original speech. Translations are old enough to be public domain too: Marcus Aurelius in George Long’s 1862 version, the Tao Te Ching in James Legge’s 1891 version, Tolstoy in Constance Garnett’s and the Maudes’.
Bible verses come from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. The King James Version is not used, because it remains under Crown copyright in the United Kingdom.
If you post a daily quote, press Surprise me each morning, keep a template you like, and export. Your designs save in this browser under Recent designs, so yesterday’s look is one tap away.
The library is a starting point. Type anything into Your quote: your own words, a line from a book you own, or a client testimonial. Song lyrics and modern authors’ words are usually under copyright, so check you have the right to post them.
