Nine ways to bring words to life, from a gentle rise to word-by-word kinetic type, in over 400 templates. Exported as MP4, GIF or a still image.
To make an animated text video, type your text above, choose an Animation in the Style tab, and Export. The nine animations are Fade, Rise, Typewriter, Word by word, Karaoke, Scale, Blur in, Letter cascade and None, and every template can use any of them.
Each animation is timed from the Length you pick, and finishes early enough that the full text stays on screen for reading. Key words marked with *asterisks* can be highlighted as they appear. For the typed-out effect specifically, see the typewriter text video page.
Put it in Your quote. Short lines animate best.
In Style, choose from Animation, then a Length.

Press Export for an MP4, a GIF, or an image of the last frame.
For a few lines of a poem or a song you have the rights to, press Enter in Your quote to keep line breaks, choose Fade or Rise so each line arrives in turn, and add the track with Add music. quote.video shows the whole passage on one screen; it doesn’t time each line to the music.
To put animated text over your own clip, choose Photo or video in Background and pick the video. It plays silently behind the text and loops if it is shorter than the quote. Darken and Blur keep the words readable.
